We’re pleased to announce an exciting new project. We are not aware of anything like it currently in the United States.

We’ve just completed the back-end architecture of what we are calling The ABCs of Alcohol Licensing (beta) in the US.

Researchers are already at work collecting forms, FAQs, contact phone numbers, e-mail addresses, industry circulars, fee schedules and so much more from federal agency that regulates beverage alcohol and each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

This information will be added to our fully searchable database. Got a question about wholesaling wine in Virginia? You’ll be able to pull up the forms, the rules and other vital information that you’ll need to know about how to obtain the federal and state license. Need to know how long it takes to get a federal Brewer’s Notice permit? We’ve gone out and gotten that information so you don’t have to.

And, as always, we’re here to help you with all your federal licensing needs, and most state requirements as well.

In the meantime, we’re asking for donations of any amount from industry members and newcomers who call us frequently with questions or find value in the new database we are building. The researchers don’t come cheap and we’re happily investing in this project. But to make it grow bigger, better and faster, some help from you would most welcome and appreciated.
